Fellows will participate in a one-year intensive program providing recent graduates with exposure to all aspects of digital research at Millward Brown and Dynamic Logic.

What are the terms of the fellowship?  

We'll provide the chosen candidates with the tools, training, support and guidance to understand and excel in our business. Through a practical, hands-on approach, the Associate Research Analyst will learn how to monitor and analyze data and present results to clients, while developing and enhancing knowledge of research methodologies and online advertising.

At the end of the year, the Associate Research Analyst will likely join either a Dynamic Logic (media-focused) or Millward Brown (brand-focused) Client Team.

What makes a successful applicant for the fellowship and how does the selection process work?

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Statistics, Psychology or Marketing. Excellent communication skills and the strong desire to learn in the digital market research field are also essential.

We are looking for people who are intellectually curious and motivated by the prospect of delivering high-quality insights and analyses to their clients.

Resumes and online applications will be accepted through May 9, 2008, with interviews to be conducted throughout the months of April and May, 2008. The chosen candidates will begin work in June, 2008.

Job Responsibilities and Duties
Essential Responsibilities and Duties¹:
  • Initially, generate reports and program surveys until proficiency in understanding of automated tools and interfaces is established (case study format)
  • Coordinate project execution, interfacing with Operations Team, Client Team and Safecount to ensure quality data collection, programming and PowerPoint report creation. Also interface with external constituencies (agency, websites, advertiser) as needed to collect all relevant information
  • Prepare and QA surveys; proofread reports
  • Prepare Statements of Work and ensure SOW has complete information about campaign and research objectives, as well as all relevant study nuances to ensure accurate execution of customization
  • Once proficiency is established, write first drafts of surveys and reports
  • Discuss recommended study designs, survey questions, and data interpretation with RM
Auxiliary Responsibilities and Duties²:
  • Learn the standard processes and methods employed by Dynamic Logic and Millward Brown
  • Gain thorough understanding of digital solution set and basic understanding of Millward Brown solution set
  • Learn how to present research results to clients
