Detroit CrossMedia Advertising Event Brings In a Packed House

Over 200 advertisers, marketers and publishers gathered on Wednesday, October 25th, 2006, at the Marriott in Troy for a discussion of integrated marketing programs and cross-media advertising among industry leaders from "both sides of the table."

Nick Nyhan, CEO of Dynamic Logic and Managing Director of Millward Brown's Futures Group, led the panel discussion between media representatives from Meredith Corporation, Microsoft and NBC Universal representing the sell-side perspective, and advertisers and agency executives representing Discovery Networks, Kellogg's and PHD Detroit, giving the buyers' view on cross-media advertising.

In today's media environment, where digital is prevailing and emerging platforms are becoming increasingly more prevalent, well-integrated advertising campaigns are critical to effectively communicate and engage with consumers. The panelists discussed the role of emerging platforms, changes to internal structures within organizations to enable cross-media campaigns, and the value of engaging the consumer through integrated advertising.
